Full Light Feature

Each track family includes a Full Light On/Off parameter that instantly toggles between illuminated and unlit appearances — ideal for quick presentation renders and schematic lighting layouts.

Why are the families modeled as Generic Models?

Tracks and lighting fixtures are built as Generic Models so they can be cuttable in section views. Revit’s default Lighting Fixture category isn’t cuttable, limiting visual detail in drawings. This approach ensures your sections remain accurate and visually complete.

Self-Illumination Materials and Light Source Included

All light components use a custom Self Illumination material setup to enhance realism without using actual light sources. The material RD_Glass White High Luminance (RGB 232,232,232) includes high-luminance properties and glow simulation (Desk Lamp Lens, 6500K temperature) – ensuring bright, visually balanced renderings while keeping file size and performance optimal.
