Will you sell my requested content on RD Studio?

That is entirely up to you. We offer two modeling paths to suit your budget and privacy needs:

  • Exclusive (White-Label): You retain full ownership. The family is engineered exclusively for your firm and will never appear on our public marketplace.
  • Non-Exclusive (Co-Funded): You receive the exact custom asset you need at a significantly reduced rate. In exchange, we publish the asset to the public RD Studio marketplace.

Can you convert my existing CAD blocks to .RFA?

Yes. However, we do not simply "import" CAD files into Revit, as this causes severe model bloat and poor performance. Instead, we use your 2D or 3D CAD files as precise references to rebuild the geometry natively within Revit. This ensures you get a clean, fully parametric family that looks correct in all views and schedules accurately.

Can you include my firm's specific BIM standards?

Of course. By default, we apply our own rigorous RD Studio modeling standards. If your firm requires specific naming conventions, custom shared parameters, or distinct subcategories, simply let us know. We will gladly collaborate directly with your BIM Manager to ensure those standards are implemented perfectly into your new families.

What versions of Revit do you support?

We typically build families in older versions of Revit (e.g., Revit 2020 or 2021) to ensure they can be seamlessly upgraded and used by clients operating on any newer version of the software.
