🛑 Matching End Caps Included

Finish your rooflines flawlessly. Instead of leaving open-ended sweeps that ruin exterior renderings, every single gutter profile in this collection includes a dedicated, accurately matched end cap family to give your building elevations a complete and professional look.

⚙️ Parametric Profile Flexibility

Easily adapt your drainage systems to specific architectural requirements. These flexible gutters feature Type Parameters for width and height—allowing you to dial in exact manufacturer dimensions—plus an adjustable Angle instance parameter to effortlessly align the gutter with slanted fascias or unique roof pitches.

🏗️ Native Revit Workflow

Skip the complex sweep workarounds. These profiles integrate seamlessly with Revit’s native roof tools. Simply click along your roof edges to instantly generate continuous gutters that automatically adjust and update whenever you modify your underlying roof geometry.

Roof Gutters for Revit

Complete your exterior rooflines and accurately model building drainage systems with the Revit Roof Gutters collection. Designed for architects, exterior designers, and BIM modelers, this comprehensive library includes 12 highly detailed gutter profiles ranging from classic residential shapes to modern commercial fascias.

Instead of relying on basic Revit sweeps, this collection provides fully parametric, render-ready gutter families. With strict type controls for standardization and flexible instance angles for complex roof conditions, you can easily add realistic rainwater management details to any architectural facade.

Key Features

  • ✅ Traditional & Classic Profiles: K Style, Ogee, Half Round, and Half Round Beaded for historic renovations and classic residential designs.
  • ✅ Modern & Architectural: Box D Style, Fascia, Sheerline, and V Shape for sleek, contemporary residential and commercial rooflines.
  • ✅ High-Capacity & Specialized: Half Round Deepflow, Half Round Flatback, Quad Hi-Front, and Quad Lo-Front to meet specific regional climate and drainage requirements.
  • ✅ Standardized Sizing (Type Parameters): Maintain project-wide consistency. The Width and Height are built as Type Parameters, allowing you to create standard manufacturer sizes (e.g., 5-inch or 6-inch gutters) that update globally across your model.
  • ✅ Flexible Pitch Control (Instance Parameter): Easily adapt to complex roof geometries. The built-in Angle instance parameter allows you to tilt individual gutter segments on the fly to perfectly match angled fascia boards, custom roof pitches, or slight drainage slopes.

How to Place the Gutters

Adding these gutters to your model is incredibly fast because they leverage standard Revit behaviors. Simply navigate to the Architecture tab, open the Roof dropdown, and select the native "Roof: Gutter" tool. Choose your desired gutter profile from the properties panel, and click directly on the edges of your roof or fascia. The gutter will automatically generate along the selected path, providing an instant, continuous sweep that follows your exact roofline.

How to Place the End Caps

To give your rooflines a realistic, watertight appearance, we’ve included matching end caps for all 12 gutter styles. Because these are specialized loadable families, you do not use the native gutter tool to place them. Instead, navigate to the Architecture tab, click "Component" and select the corresponding end cap from the type selector. Simply place it at the open ends of your gutter sweeps and use the align tool to lock it perfectly into position.
