Strictly Forbidden
You are not allowed to reproduce, distribute, copy or sell the contents of RD Studio at any circumstances. Products can’t be sold without being part of a bigger project or work combining RD Studio digital products with other graphics, modeling or digital elements. Also, you are not allowed to use products from RD Studio in similar or any competing services.

How to Install Dynamo Scripts

1. Open Revit
2. From the Manage Tab > Dynamo
3. From Dynamo click File > Open and choose the dyn. file
4. To Run the script click on the Run button

Revit Dynamo script: NEC-Compliant Panel Schedule Generator

This Dynamo script (v1.4.2) automates NEC-compliant panel schedule generation in Revit MEP projects, correcting voltage and sorting circuits naturally. It’s ideal for MEP engineers creating accurate electrical schedules.

Key Features:

  • Generates schedules for OST_ElectricalEquipment panels with load and current data.
  • Corrects voltage (e.g., decivolts to volts) and flags unrealistic values.
  • Applies NEC continuous load factor (125% for continuous loads).
  • Outputs CSV with panel name, circuit number, load name, voltage, kVA, and currents.
  • Naturally sorts circuits for readability.

Inputs Required:

  • Element Selection: None (automatically collects panels and systems).
  • Naming Conventions: None.
  • Template Application: None.
  • Geometric Parameters: None.
  • Randomization Controls: None.
  • Color and Material Settings: None.
  • Level or Height Information: None.

Outputs Generated:

  • CSV report (panel_schedule.csv) with panel schedules, including warnings.
  • Dynamo output with schedule table (panel name, circuit, load, voltage, kVA, currents).

Instructions:

  1. Open Revit 2023–2025 with electrical panels and systems defined.
  2. Launch Dynamo 2.17+; ensure RevitAPI/RevitServices are available.
  3. Add Python Script node, load Panel_Schedule_Generator.py.
  4. Run the script (no inputs required).
  5. Check Desktop for panel_schedule.csv and Dynamo for table output.

Notes:

  • Ensure panels have valid “Apparent Load” and “Voltage” parameters.
  • Warnings flag zero kVA or unrealistic currents (>1000A).
